South Korea with Kenneth Lin

In this episode we talk with Kenneth Lin, a recent SCU graduate. Last fall he studied in Seoul, South Korea. Kenneth describes the highs and lows of study abroad, especially during a global pandemic.

He navigated the South Korean government’s energy conservation policy and regulations and how that impacted his housing arrangements, as well as difficulties connecting with locals.

Even though he experienced his fair share of challenges, Kenneth explains why he doesn't regret his time abroad despite some unfortunate circumstances.
